each element in this installation come together in a choreographed dance.
a sound activated motor causes the paper form, attached to the wall, to jiggle like a dashboard hoola dancer, while a timer sets the steel component off producing light from two bright spot lights while violently oscillated. The third element is a projection of a thirty second clip, Marisa Tomei dancing with a striper-pole from the Wrestler, slowed and stretched out to last two minutes.
Timers control the photo lights and a blower that inflates the form on a bike. Without the bright lights of attention the form deflates and sags.
